Haggenberg Castle is much more than just an event location. Not only can you celebrate weddings, hold seminars and do photo shoots here, but you can also enjoy an incomparable overnight experience. The rooms, which are normally used for events, can be rented exclusively here to make your vacation a truly special experience.
The SANCTUM
make the ball room your living room
On the floor plan of the 2nd floor you can see the corresponding rooms marked in blue.
- The ball room - It is the heart and living room of the Sanctum.
- The dining hall with a modern kitchen and a large table for eating.
- The fire room - A bedroom with a double bed (200 cm x 200 cm) and a sofa bed (160 cm x 200 cm).
- The water room - A spacious bathroom with bathtub and daybed.
The exclusive living area of approximately 300m² includes shared use of the extensive garden with hammock, rowing boat and apple trees, with chicken, cats or the castle dog in between. And right in the middle - the mystical castle courtyard with the old, babbling stone fountain and adjoining grotto, the Sala Terrena.
In addition, guests can use the 65 m² castle kitchen on the ground floor (summer operation only).
In the Sanctum you will find a unique hideaway that creates space for peace, inspiration and self-discovery. Simply escape from everyday life and immerse yourself in the healing atmosphere of this powerful place. Here you can find your inner center, enjoy the serenity of the surrounding nature, absorb the energy of the castle and blossom anew.
The modern kitchen in the dining room invites you to cook and eating together at the festive table becomes an unforgettable experience.
But the real highlight awaits you in the evening in the ball room, which becomes a living room here. You can sit down in front of one of the two open fireplaces, philosophize, make music, get inspired or be creative amidst the historical frescoes.

- Our castle rooms not only offer a view of nature, but also privacy and peace. Here you can escape from everyday life and spend a restful night amidst historical elegance.
- Enjoiy the beauty of simplicity! The two bathrooms, although located outside the three summer rooms, are also characterized by their attention to detail. Each summer room also has its own sink in the room itself.
- On the ground floor, our guests have access to the 65 m² castle kitchen (summer operation only) for communal use.
